“The Zonda has set more than one record at the race track. It raised the bar for road supercars. Passion, ingenuity, knowledge and craftsmanship created the parts to form an effective and focused package. What more could you want?”
These are the enticing words appearing at the beginning of this beautifully-shot video clip. In the clip is the new supercar Pagani Zonda R. It does not move or even start up. This is something of a commercial trailer for the super track car which was commissioned to Supercarmovies.com by Pagani.
At some point during the clip they show some of the components that make up the R and then progress to other shots demonstrating these parts being screwed together by hand to form a complete package. When it’s done you can’t help but admire the polished finished product.
To get the technical spec of this supercar is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine with 552kW (750hp) and peak torque of 710Nm. It comes with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and slick tyres.

New Pagani Huayra was designed to be driven on the racecourse
0 comments Posted by Frees at 10:24 PMThe Pagani Zonda R was designed to be driven on the racecourse. In fact the Zonda R was modeled after the Zonda F model. The supercar is produced with a Carbon-Titanium composite that helps to make it lightweight - without sacrificing rigidity.
Below the sleek hood dwells a Mercedes AMG 6.0 liter engine that can punch out out 750 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque. The driver utilises a direct throttle actuation that is supercharged through a mechanical cable. The supercar is also built with a 12 way Bosch Motorsport traction control as well as an ABS system.

Just one look at the aggressive bodywork of this supercar and you will be able to feel the power that is emanating from it. Even if you were to just take a test drive you would be tempted to force it to its limit and travel as fast as you could. And it would most likely be more than capable of handling this.

If you want to accelerate faster than anyone else you don't need a Bugatti. There are other cheaper cars that do the job. The Ultima GTR is one, and the Caparo T1 will be another. Maybe the SSC Ultimate Aero TT is another.
The Bugatti Veyron gets to 100 mph in about 5.5 seconds - the actual figure varies according to who timed it. However, the Ultima GTR can reach 10 mph in 5.3 seconds which is blisteringly quick - that was timed independently.

Aside from the engine, the Pagani Zonda R also boasts of its central carbon chassis with a roll cage, rubber racing aeronautical fuel tank, four fuel pumps, and refuel filler similar to that of GT race cars. To make the supercar equation more favorable to enthusiasts, the wheelbase was increased by 47mm, the overall length by 394 mm and the track is increased by 50mm. The bodywork and aerodynamics have been meticulously designed to offer maximum downforce. The longer front bonnet with flaps, rear overhang with the adjustable rear wing, and closed underbody and race derived diffuser transform into crushing superb efficiency. The said features allow drivers to experience cornering speeds beyond imagination.

Through the suggestions of passionate track focused Zonda enthusiasts, Pagani has designed the Pagani Zonda R with customized engineering solutions to meet the high performance requirements of a track day vehicle. A carbon-titanium composite central monocoque, enhanced rigidity while significantly lowering weight.

After a series of leaked magazine shots hit the internet this past weekend, Pagani today officially released its new Huayra supercar model in a rather anticlimactic way. Designed to replace the much-hyped Zonda series, Horacio Pagano's newest creation is named after the Andean god of wind, Aymara Huayra Tata.

The Huayra has a somewhat softer styling and isn't as raw as the Zonda, but the two models do share a similar silhouette. As always, design is a matter of personal taste, so feel free to express your opinion about the car's styling in our comments section below.
