Finally, American electric car manufacturers can solve operational charging station due to Google Appoints Electric Car Battery Charging Locations
Posted by Frees at 2:34 AMCalifornia - Manufacturers such as GM and Nissan have started marketing the Volt electric car and LEAF this year. Various tools in the mobile and internet sites also appear to help find a car docking station which it is currently a major barrier of electric cars.
The newest is from Google. As reported by Reuters on Friday (3/11/2011) Google announced on his blog that Google is integrating public charging station data into Google Maps.
Data were also taken from the data Renewable Energy Laboratory of U.S. Department of Energy is building a public charging station called GeoEVSE.
Besides Google, mobile applications also began to emerge as latest namely that gave birth Xatori PlugShare application. Application helps mobile users to locate the nearest charging station.
The existence of these applications is expected to minimize the shortage of electric car that is about the distance of the home range.
